swaziland is soon.

Could it be possible? Am I really going to Africa in less than 3 days? True story! My bags are basically packed. My heart is eager. I'm ready to go. The reality of it all has yet to hit me. After months of meetings, prayer, planning, raising support...I am really going to Swaziland! The kids at my church collected toys for the kids. As I packed them into a suitecase today, I could just imagine the smiles those kids will have from getting a doll, or a Yo-Yo, or some crayons. I don't really have a lot of expectations for this trip. And please don't think badly of me because of it. One thing I have learned is that anything my brain can conjure that may happen, will not even light a candle next to what God has planned. I know he has incredible things for my teammates and I. Being caught up in what I think should happen will not allow me to see the things that are happening right in front of me. So, I ask for your prayer. For safety, for guidance, for wisdom, for strength, for communication. We leave Indianapolis on Tuesday morning and then have a nice long lay over in D.C. until we take off for Africa. I will be returning to the states on Thursday the 17th. Stay posted for blogs after I return. Stories and pictures will flood this site. I cannot wait to share with all of you what God has done.
