daisy the dog

Maybe it's because I have a huge heart for dogs. Maybe it's because I was bored. But, either way...I just had an adventure. I was looking out my window when I noticed this beautiful black and while Border Collie outside just running around. When I opened my window and called to her, she came up to the dorm like she was friendly. So I grabbed a sharpie and a Post-It to get her owner's number and try to see if I could find them. So when I went outside and called to her, she came right over. Daisy is a beautiful dog. So I got the number, but I didn't want to leave her outside while I went to call. So, what was the obvious thing to do...take her to my room. Yup, I took Daisy up the stairs and down the hall into my room. Keep in mind that my roommate is not the biggest fan of dogs. So I locked the door so she would be freaked out when she came back. I tried calling but no one answered. What's a girl to do in this situation? You know that person you call in a crisis or in time of "I have no clue what to do"? Well, I called Kaylyn. She said that she would come with me to Daisy's house. So I piled Daisy in the car and Kaylyn and I set out for her house. This dog went for a hike let me tell you! Her owner was there when we arrived and everything is fine. I just have to laugh at myself. But, it was fun, and Daisy is at home safe, and that is all that matters.
