blessed
| The greatest things often go unnoticed. Maybe its the fact that friendships just kind of creep up on me, until I realize how much I value them. Maybe its the fact that these particular friendships were so comfortable to get into that I never saw it happening until I was in the midst of them. Either way, God has incredibly blessed me with some amazing women in my life. Kelly. My roommate. I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank God for her. There is just something about coming back to the house and hearing, "Hi Roomie!" from upstairs. We did stories before bed the other night. She is an Elementary Education major and has to read a bunch of children's books for class. (like over 170) And I saw one on her desk that is absolutely one of my favorites. No More Jumping on the Bed! Love it. And so she sat on my bed and I read it to her. It was just nice. Lisa. My housemate. Due to circumstances last semester we didn't get very close. But now, we hang out a lot. She is on the basketball team, and I love watching her play. She is incredible! Not only is she incredible on the court, but off as well. Lisa is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We always watch Ellen on Tuesday and Thursdays together. Thursday is breakfast with Ellen and we make breakfast together. She is just such a blessing in my life. Sarah. My future roommate. Kind of completely random that we are going to be roommates. Sarah is actually Lisa's best friend from home. And it just came to be that we both were going to be needing roommate next year. (Kelly is getting married this summer) Sarah is always over at the townhouse, and she, Lisa and I always hang out on the weekends when Kelly goes home. She is just such a good friend, and I am loving getting to know her. When I think about this, I just am overcome with the greatness of God. They are such a blessing, and I know they were put in my life at exactly the right time. I give him all the glory. |
