home for christmas

Thursday morning, I woke up. In my house. In my room. In my bed. My feet hit the floor and I walked out of the room, and the site that greeted me from the window at the end of that hallway was such a delight. God had sent me a snow storm that night! I plopped onto the couch and while my mom made me cream of wheat. The snow fell outside big and puffy flakes. The Christmas tree glowed bight with lights and everything just felt right. Home is a nice place to be when you are someone like me.
