macs and Sabbaths.
| Currently, I sit in my incredible friend Jess's room. Our plan was after church to watch a movie/ take a nap. So, we picked Finding Nemo as our napping movie. However, our plan was foiled by girls that are loud and think that lots of knocking on doors must take place. She is still asleep so here I sit on her Mac. Yay. The more I play with the Mac...the more I love it. Do you want to know why? Because it doesn't hate me. It does things when I ask it to. The fan does not kick into high gear everytime I sit down. There is no stupid screensaver in which i have to wait for to get back to my desktop. It sits quietly and politely as it waits for someone to use it. That is why I like Macs. Even though they are currently the popular trend amoungst many of the college kids, I like it. Today is Sunday. The Sabbath. The day I get to relax as much as time allows because I got all of my homework done yesterday. I sleep when I want, eat when I want, play when I want, watch tv when I want, etc. The more Sunday's that I get to do this, I wonder why I didn't do it sooner. I love that now that I've figured out what God really intended for the Sabbath to be, the more I wish I had followed his original plan a lot longer. But then again, I realize that this is one of those things that takes time to follow and having it forced upon you does not allow you to fully appreciate the fullness of God's plan. So, now that I have blogged when I wanted...I am now going to attempt to go back to sleep. Happy Sunday everyone. |
