just to catch you up...

This has to be one of the most memorable Thanksgiving breaks ever. Jess and I came home on Friday night. That was amazing! This girl is histerical! I asked her to put together some CD's for the loooonnngggg drive home because her music collection will not be matched. I have never laughed so hard, sang so loud, or been so wonderfully awake for the whole drive home. However, I have to say that maybe the police get a little to bored around here. Let me explain. I was almost to where I had to drop Jess off when what do my wondering eyes should appear but a couple flashing lights in my rear view mirror. So obviously I pulled over and the policeman comes up to my car and asks me if I knew that I was going 50 in a 45. 50 in a 45!!! 50 in a 45!!! You have got to be kidding me!?!!?! No, I did not say that. I responded as innocently as possible..."No, I probablly just wasn't paying attention to my speed." Well, to make a long story short...he didn't give me a ticket. But still...made for a great laugh for Jess and I. Monday was kind of fun. I got to see the 3 stainless steel plates and 15 screws that are now a part of my mothers ankle bones. (X-ray, people) That's right...my mother will never again be able to get through a metal decetor in peace again. Thrusday, Pastor Rob, Aimee, and Noah came over for dinner. Aimee and I prepared dinner. That was fun. I made my very own apple pie and I did the mashed potatoes and just helped with the rest. Think I finally nodded off during the second round of watching "Whinne the Pooh and Christmas too." Over all, it's been a pretty good break.
