bruises

Volleyball...one of my new favorite activities. Last night Evans 2 had 2 games. Back to back. Slightly tiring. Well, the first game we won...easily. The second game, not so much. It was vrs. the Lodges. Now, if you are an attende of the WU you know that the Lodges usually bring it. (if ya know what i mean) So our team was basically in the zone. I have never seen us play so hard. We seriously fought for every point. Crazy long rallies. My right knee is sufficently bruised today. Ok...so in the first game of the match my serves were dead on. I just kept putting them to this girl in the back row and for some reason she couldn't handle them. I'm not trying to be concided cause I serve underhand. And its not the nicest underhand you've ever seen. Ok...so the second match...I don't know what happened. We were tied 24-24...and guess who had to serve? Oh yes...good 'ol me. Argh! I must have wailed on that ball because it hit the basketball hoop that was up on the ceiling. So, yah, I'm pretty much ticked about that game. We fought so hard and it's hard to loose when you have played that hard. You should see this bruise...I'm pretty sure that it goes pretty deep too. The stinky thing is that I went bowling yesterday afternoon for a class and slipped on the wood floor and smashed the same knee off the floor. So not only did I hurt it in bowling...but pretty much killed it during volleyball. Darn me and my desire to dig every single ball that comes my way. ;)
