first snow

It has been said that there is something magical about the first snow. I am inclined to agree with them. Finally, after all this waiting, wishing, hoping, praying, snow has arrived in Indiana. Oh and it is glorious. It is not a piddly little, 'wanna be' snow. No, it is a snow that says, "HEY! I'm here! Get excited!" And boy did I listen. After I got all my homework done for the evening, I went on a little walk. Well, it was more than little I guess. I was outside for a half hour. Taking pictures. Listening. Looking. Just being in the moment. It's something my life has lacked lately. Snow is truly cool. (no pun intended) There's something about it that makes me just stop and be and think about our God. When you think about it, it's a pretty interesting concept. Frozen water, floats down in these crystals that are never two the same, and coats the ground. I just think God's pretty neat like that.
