the inner child

I just want to say that God is pretty much cool. Tonight after our basketball game I walked out of the Rec Center to the most wonderful sight. Big, puffy flakes floating to the ground. There was already a dusting on the sidewalks. I turned off my music and slowly strolled around campus. It's amazing the hush that takes over when there is a snow fall. Everything is so still and quite. The sound of snow crunching beneath my feet was magnified. So, the child inside me suddenly took over. The flakes were so big I just wanted to catch one. I am really hoping no one saw me hopping around, ducking and diving to catch snowflakes on my tongue. I caught a couple too. :) It's beautiful out right now. The snow is still falling peacefully. I can hardly wait to wake up tomorrow morning and see everything covered.
