| Do you ever cherish something so much that you hold it so deep in your heart so no one else can touch it? Well, I have been doing that as of late. The single most important thing in my life is my relationship with God. Sure, it's easy to talk about it with friends that share my beliefs but what about those who have never experinced the amazing love of God? I am really that comfortable in my place at home, college, and camp that I will forget about the rest of the world that is suffering daily. We whine when there is "nothing good to eat" when in all reality our fridges and cupboards are stock full of food that is perfectly good. Our days are thrown totally out of wack with a headache or sore muscles when if we just pop a few pain killers or grab and ice bag, we know we will be fine again. But what about those children that maybe get one meager meal every 2 days? The millions that are dieing with AIDS without hope of medicine or even health care from a doctor. What about them? They cry out in pain because they don't understand why their child's stomach is swelling because of hunger or why did mommy and daddy have to die and leave them all alone. Don't they deserve to know the peace that passes all understanding? Are my fears really enough to keep me complacent at home? That is a poor excuse. I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to realize this. Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." All things...not just some or partial...ALL. I must have the faith to believe that anything is possible when God is with me. No more selfish love. This is a love too great, too perfect, too consuming to hold it in any longer. |

lol...you have the purest of joy look on your face when you eat the pie and that is good enough for me. but you are unselfish...you gave away that confounded game of yours to the 'needy'.
