What Really Matters

So, as I was doing intermitant chores this morning, the TV was tuned into The View. They ladies were discussing a segment they had had on the prior day about Beautifulpeople.net. How, people could try and get on this web site and be labled as beautiful. How ridiculous is that? People have gotten so superficial. God created us in His image. We are perfect in his sight. When we mad mouth others or even ourselves saying that we don't "measure up", we are saying that God's work is not good enough. Besides, we are all going to grow old, and wrinkly, and have age spots and looks are not going to matter. What is going to matter is the kind of person you are. What kind of a life you have lived and how you have effected the world around you. Are we living in ways that glorifies God? In what we do and say, are we worshiping Him? Or, are we only praising Him Sunday morning in church? I wonder that about myself...
