two months in a van.

Today ends the best summer of my life.

Traveling is all through. T-shirts are turned in. The van is back in the parking lot. Cards are filled out. We've logged over four thousand miles. And now I have to say goodbye to three of the most amazing people ever.

Looking back, I can't believe the things we have accomplished. We have been all over the east coast ministry to kids of all backgrounds and personalities. We have seen God work in powerful ways. We have had the crazy times laughing together about the most ridiculous things.

Rachel, Jordan, and Chris are like the siblings I never had. They are wonderful people of God that I am so incredibly blessed to have spent two months with in a van. I will be leaving to go home soon, and as much as I want to be home and relax...I can't help thinking that I leave a piece of me with them.

Wow. The summer is offically half over for me. We have gotten through our first 4 weeks of camps and what a month it has been.

We started out at Yolijwa Camp in southern Pennsylvania. Awesome camp. God did a lot of amazing things and we saw a lot of kids get saved.

My personal favorite camp so far has been Table Rock Wesleyan Camp. I LOVED IT!!!! The people were absolutely amazing and I made a lot of new friends. God moved in ways I never excepted. He opened up the hearts of the campers every single night and brought them to a new understanding of who he is and why he loves them so much. I was in awe of how God worked in their lives. One of my favorite things was the last night of Senior high. The speaker wanted the kids to wright down something they needed to give to Jesus and nail it to the cross and leave there. He had the campers literally hammer their things to the cross. It was one of the coolest sounds I ever heard and something I will never forget.

Gods been teaching me a lot of different things in the last couple of weeks. He teaching me to be burdened for the lost. To pray for those that are lost w/out ceasing. He's also been showing me what he wants for me in the future which while it is exciting, its also very scary at the same time. I feel as though I am being pulled in a hundred different directions. A piece of me is at home. A piece of me is at Chambers Camp, at IWU, at Table Rock, in Swaziland...I am starting to feel as though this is just a process you go through as a young adult ready to start your own life. But at the same time the process isn't easy. I want to greive the parts of my life that are coming to an end, but at the same time rejoice in the new adventure I am about to take part in.

It's an interesting journey that I am sure God has lots in store for me. Please keep praying for our team for safety and our ministry.
