seize the day
| Tonight is my last night at home. It is a bitter sweet thought for me. I love being home, relaxing, with my parents. Not having to fight over the TV or when I take a shower. But I guess that is part of college life, compramise. Only a couple more weeks and my first year of college will be over. It seems like it went to fast. I wish I had not stressed out so much, gone to more soccer games, played more intermural sports, stayed up later with the girls, made more friends. See, it's all about not having regrets. Making the most of every minute God blesses you with. You never know when your time on earth is over. Are you doing all you can to bring more to him? 'Cause that is what is all about. You don't have to stand on a soap box screaming at passers-by. You can do it by cracking a smile at an elderly lady that is alone and quite, but helping a single mother load her car, taking the time to get to know hurting child. Just about anything. Remeber that story Jesus told..."For whatever you do for the least of these, you have done it unto me." That is what I want. I want to see Jesus in everyone...to never look away because how they look, act or even smell. "carpe diem" |
