Captivating. This is an amazing book. I don't know if the popularity has hit where you are but it sure has at IWU. I borrowed it from my RA Jenni the other day and it is truly an amazing book. Girls, you need to read this book. It has truly touched me just in the past 3 days of reading it. A lot of stuff that is talked about in the book is things that I thought I was the only one going through. You may be feeling like that too. The authors, John and Stasi Eldregde, go deep into a woman's heart. (It's the same guy that wrote Wild at Heart for the guys.) Girls, seriously...get this book. I can't tell you more than that. It gives you a totally different perspective on life, yourself, guys, relationships, God, and everything else. Guys, if you really want to understand women...read this book. Even John says that guys should read this. This book is not for the faint of heart though. There are a lot of issues that this book makes you take a serious look at yourself. It's not easy. I sat alone in the Kem Bistro last night reading it and I had tears rolling down my face because of the realness of this book and how it just hit me where it hurts. So just know that this book is for those who want to go deeper with Christ...and when I say deep, I mean waaaaaayyy deep. Like dealing with hurts and wounds that so many of us tend to hide from the world. I am so glad that I was finally able to read this book. A lot of women have read it here and I just really felt God leading me to want to read it. I am so glad I am. When I finish it I will give you my full thoughts. Go deep...God has so much more for you than you expect. Live every moment of your life in order to bring glory to him. He died for us...'tis a small price of us to pay to stand out and be bold for him.
