Taking Things for Granted
| I didn't think it would be this hard. This weekend my parents came to visit. It was so nice to see them. Swimelar's brought Brandyn so it was really nice surprise for Kaylyn. All of us went out for dinner Firday at Applebee's. BreAnn, Kaylyn, and I downed the entire appetizer plate before the guys got back from the arcade. I hit Wal Mart pretty hard. So I think I am set until Thanksgiving. My parents took me shopping yesterday. That was nice to finally get some clothes. Target is like my best friend. I love that store. Then we met Laura's family for lunch at Panera. That was nice. Macy's and Old Navy was also hit up for some clothes for my back. lol. We went back to the hotel and I slept from 2:30 until 4:30. Nice nap. Then Mom, Dad and I went out to eat at Bob Evans. That was nice. They came to church with me this morning. They just left like a half hour ago. I didn't think it would be this hard saying goodbye again. It's worse than the first time when they dropped me off intially. Kids back home, don't take your parents for granted. I'm serious. When you get to college, and you don't have them anymore, you miss having them around...a LOT. I know they frusterate you, and yell about the stupidest things...but they are only doting that because they love you. Please...love on your parents more. You will thank me when you get to college. |
