Perpeputal State...
| Well, today was slightly better than yesterday. No, it was tons better. I got up later than usuall and showered and went to breakfast. I sat alone through most of it, just talking to God about some "situations" going on in my life. Then this girl named Emily from Shattford who sat with me last week ate with me again. That was nice. She and I get along really well. I am going to start calling her my breakfast buddy. Then because I didn't sleep so well last night I got some coffee for a $1 at McConn. How great is that? $1 coffee..and it's a pretty big coffee too. That made Anatomy and Physiology nice. I am starting to really get into that class. Mrs. Pettiet seems to have imprinted lots of stuff in my head because I just remember. You'd be proud of me, Joe. So today IWU was having a blood drive. It brought back that old memories of Sayre High National Honor Society. lol...good times. But I was already to give blood. I wait about 15 minutes till my number is called and I go to talk to the nurse. She did the blood testing and it didn't sink!!! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about...when you give blood they do a test on your blood by putting it into a container that if your blood has enough iron in it, it will sink. Well, mine didn't. Apparently you are supposed to have 38 and had 36 of something. So, I was already to save a life and couldn't. That is depressing. But it was really nice to go to the Student Center and work on homework. Ben and I had a nice talk...then Kaylyn came and studied with me. Doug- thanks for the phone call...you don't know how much I appreciate it. You are always there when I need a friend. |
