Is it Worth It?
| Love, what the heck is it anyways? And, is it worth it? It is this question that I have been trying to understand and answer. You know when you feel so deeply about a person and you love being with them...you can't get them out of your head can you? When you go to bed at night...they are who you think about. When you are going about your daily activities...their face, their voice always pop into your head right? Perhaps you don't "love" them. Maybe you do...either way...you can't get them off your mind. But, what happens when that person breaks your heart? You have spent all that time thinking, talking to, spending time with that special one. And then your heart is once again ripped out and trashed. Was it all worth it? I swore to myself a long time ago that I wouldn't crush on guys...because crushes never matter. But holy crap, they do to matter. You still care about them. You still are close to them...and it kills when its over. Over...ha, how can it be over when you don't even tell them? But still, you sit in your room and cry. Quitely you have the pain of knowing that the thing you so wanted will never be. So, this is the question I pose to you all...is it worth loving and getting hurt? If you "love" someone so much...would you have enough courage to tell them? Or would you not...saving yourself perhaps even more pain down the road? Give me some feed back people. I'd love to hear it. |

I'm not so sure. BEing happily married for 15 years I found commitment is the real thing. Is being in love wrong? Don't think so. I Had a crush on my wofe for 4 years before she responded. That hurt! But it seems the Lord had a purpose with that. It made me focus and commit to him first. Trust Him, and you'll be allrigt!
