Welcome to Diverse City

Wow, this entry is going to cover a lot. First, the work bee on the 7th. Way fun, except for the whole getting sick thing...gotta love Pepto Bismal! Must be a camp thing for me, I only ever get sick at Chambers. Kaylyn and Kaylan helped me get ready for prom...yes in the Retreat Center bathrooms. Funnest thing in the world to see the looks on women's faces when they walked in. I must be the only person who ever got ready for prom at camp. Then there was prom itself. I had to drive Katie, Alicia and Jose. Well, I took a couple of wrong turns and Jose was screaming fowl Spanish to me from the back seat. Dinner of course was a blast, it was the best part of the night. Then on Wednesday, my Spanish 4 class went to Ithica. Cornell University is amazing. Just look at that view! Oh, and then yesterday was NTL's. The girls had worked their butts off all season. Keep in mind that Sayre girls have won the last 7 NTL Championships and we were going for 8 straight. Going into the meet, we knew it was going to be tight. Very tight. Well, we all did our best, but we came up short. We took third. I bawled. I wanted nothing more than another NTL win but, I guess it wasn't part of God's plan. Just thought that I'd mention that I only have 7 days of school left. In that time I have track and field disctric meet on Saturday...yes, I have to miss Men's Retreat. bummer. Then I have Senior Banquet next Thursday...finals start on Monday. Whoa...but it will be all over soon and none of it will matter on June 3rd.
