A Comfortable Breeze

WOW! This week was fabulous, such a waste of my time...except for Tuesday. It was the day of our track meet. The weather was great!! 85 degrees with a comfortable breeze. I could feel that it was going to be a good throwing day. Discus was first. I finally had the spin under control (thanks for the tips Wheels!) and I was ready to excecute. Origianally, my PR, or personal record, was like 58 ft 5 in. Not great, not horrible. On my second throw, I did one of the best throws I have ever done with the spin and flung it 66 ft and 2 in. So, now I am in the area where if I work at it...I might do some damage. Then my event is up. Shot Put. I still hadn't qualified for districts. (The distance girls have to throw is 28' 6".) My PR was only 28'2". I felt good. The weather was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold where your muscles freeze up and you can't throw. My first throw....28' 11"!!!! Let me tell you, I was just a little excited. Then, my next throw was 29' 2"! I told you it was going to be a good day.

Last night was a blast. I went over to Ashley's to do note cards with her and Nagar. Oh, man, so funny! "Now watch as the human devours the cookie...her mouth is full of crumbs and some are comming out of her mouth...she is so preocupied with her snack that nothing else matters."

And today, it was productive. Stayed home from school to do more note cards. Man, I hate research papers, I can't wait till this is over next Thursday. I'm glad I stayed home...(things will get better promise).

Tomorrow is TNT...very excited to see everyone! Maybe it won't rain and it would acctually be a nice day. Either way...its going to be fabulous...rain or shine.
