The Man

These past two days have been absolutly rediculous for me. Yesterday I went up to camp and saw Nikki, Doug and Shane...(others are poopers and don't come). Nikki and I finally had our talk that we have waited for like 2 months to have. Doug doesn't listen to his bladder. Then there was today. It was Districts at Montorsville High School. District IV competition with like 28 teams...insane the competition. My day was filled with watching everyone and doing 3 pathetic throws for Shot. I did bad...but others did not. I finally got to see Zach Snavely do the Pole Vault. This kid is sick and he scares the crap out of me missing the mat...oh my. Then there was the 2 Mile. I thought I was going to go into cardiac arrest. Joe had waited most of the day for this race and I was ready. I settled myself on the 200 meter mark and waited. I have some great shots of him running...every lap (they run 8 by the way). Well, Joe was still in second with the last 200 m. to go...then he kicked it in. I was screaming, Adam, Joe's brother was screaming, my mom was screaming...everyone was screaming. And do you know what this kid does...pulls away...sprints the last 1oo meters. I was crying...he qualified for States next Saturday...he beat his personal record by 18 seconds with a time of 10.01. Joe is disgusting...but I love him. He is the stinking man...that is all I have to say.
