More Than a Song

On Monday in chapel, we had a time of just praise and worship. It was wonderful. It is so amazing to worship with 1,500 other students 3 times a week. The songs we sang were really moving on me. I think sometimes that I sing and I don't really listen to the words that are coming out of my mouth. "Heart of Worship" was the last song on the set. I think because at Bentley Creek we sing it so much it had lost it's meaning to me until Monday. I don't know what hit me...well, yes I do...it was the Holy Spirit just nudging at me. "I'm comming back to a heart of worship And it's all about you, it's all about you Jesus. I'm sorry Lord for the thing I've made it.." You know the rest. But it just got me thinking about if my actions are truly worshiping God. I think it is safe to tell you guys that certian people that I live with drive me up a wall! I don't like dealing with them, talking to them is torture. Even though they drive me crazy and do things that make me want to rip my hair out, I still have to treat them with the love that God desires of me. My actions have to be pleasing to God...still working on that whole "I'll bring you more than a song" part.
