life is like a movie.
| ok, so i love watching movies. but i am so pressed for time that i only watch the ones recomended by friends...mostly BreAnn, my very own thumbs up or down previewer. my favorite movie is Tommy Boy. and if you have ever seen this movie, you would know why. Tommy and Richard are the oddest of odd couples. there is Tommy who ate paint chips as a child and plays Darth Vader in the fan. but come on...who hasn't done that. no one is too cool that they haven't played that game. and then there is Richard. the horny, power hungry man who can't understand why he is on this God forsaken trip trying to save the company. the most pogiant part in the movie is when Tommy and Richard are in the car and a 80's love song comes on the radio and neither of them want to turn the station and then end up singing together, tears streaming down their face. not really all that moving, but it made me cry with laughter. however, who can talk about the movie Tommy Boy with out discussing the "housekeeping" scene. im not going into details but that scene is so halarious when Paul Mammarello acts it out...thats another story. when Tommy drops his blanket in front of Richard its just one of those things you just turn your head and giggle.
have you ever done something that should be in a movie like Tommy Boy? well, i think last week had to be that type of week for me. i have to set the first story up. i had had yet another sleepless night of tossing and turning in bed and was in desperate need of cafeene. so on my way to school i stopped by the local Dandy-Mini Mart. my love for Mocha Frappachinos is well known. i was so happy walking into school, just waiting to go into spanish class and pop open a nice and cold Mocha Frappachino. well, you know how hard it is to get things with a plastic wrapper opened so i twisted it and the cap to break the seal. however, i failed to retighten the cap before shaking my beloved Mocha Frappachino all over Mr. Trumps stage, recycle bin, trash can, and floor. half of that chocolatly taste was now on my shirt and pants laughing at the irony of the event. it was just one of those days what can i say. |
